I listed an item a short while ago. I was double checking my listings to order inventory and the item I listed item # 8210130998 was listed twice by Auctiva - 1 minute apart see item # 8240131275. I only have one of these. How did this happen and how can I get my listing fees back if I end early which I will have to do?

Contact eBay, and explain to them that, due to a listing error, you had some auctions post twice, but you ended them immediately, and could they please credit you back your fees.

I've gotten listing fees back twice, and turned down once. Chances are, if you haven't requested a listing fee credit lately, they will go ahead and give you the credit.
eBay has always refunded my fees on duplicates, as long as I ended it within 24 hours of posting and explained it was a duplicate. However, it is very annoying to have this happen. My listings with Auctiva are usually problem free, but today seems to be bad. Some items are listings, some aren't, some have been duplicated. No rhyme or reason. If this were a paid service, I would not be using it.
I just noticed my high Ebay listing fees last night--seems at least 8 of my items were listed in 2 categories--and I've NEVER selected more than 1!!! I blamed it on Ebay, but seems my problem originated HERE!! HOW do I use the same payment and shipping info WITHOUT apparently unwittingly creating a dup listing & being charged TWICE??? Do I have to recreate each listing from scratch?? It would have been cheaper to pay the extra DIME for the Ebay templates rather than pay TWICE for the ENTIRE LISTING!!!
NOT HAPPY!! Dana
We also had this happen. Not suer what did it but when we posted out big list, we got some sort of error. So we fixed the error and then posted the list again. Then we noticed that everything was now up there twice. Had about 10 items which was almost $20 in fees.

I guess we'll have to email eBay to see if they can credit the fees back.

Sure hope someone can check some logs or something to see what happened so this doesn't happen in the future.
