Hi, I usually list books on ebay but wanted to schedule them this time through Activa. I tried pulling up the ISBN and got the info and then nothing happened. It didn't import it into the listing automatically like it does with Ebay. Am I suppose to copy and paste everything separately? Like download the picture and then upload? And copy and paste the text? Or is there an upload button that I didn't see? Thanks a bunch.

If you're concerned that the ISBN info doesn't show in Preview, it won't. It should at listing time build the usual ISBN section in the listing above the description. If you go back and click on "Choose Product Specifics" again, you'll see what was previously chosen and if you click on the "View Product Details" at the bottom of that page, another pop-up page will appear with the standard ISBN section and the Additional Information about ...... section, so you have a sorta preview of what you should eventually see on the final listing.

Hope that helps.

Will the picture be imported into the gallery and ebay header picture or do I have to do this. My question, I guess is, What steps do I need to do to list a book if I have the ISBN number? Do I need write the title, look up the isbn, cut and paste it into the description part and that is it or since I can not see it till it posts what else do I need to worry about? Thanks for your help.
There are selections on the lister to use Stock Photo (if there is one for the book) and to use Gallery image. You can also use the default Title (from Product specifics) or override with your own. The Stock Photo should show as options on the Header and Gallery image selection, when available. I would always use Gallery image in US, as it's now free.

I think how many pictures and detail depends upon the book you are listing. I'm an advocate of original pictures, and the more the better. However, a simple paperback might be an overwhelm for more than a cover shot (stock photo) and good description on condition (I use IOBA standards). If you sell antiquarians, obviously pictures and details really help the sale/auction ....

That auction FV would compete favorably with any of the majors at AbeBooks, who rarely post a picture. And, Yes, those are my original pics, description, et. al.

Edit: For some odd reason my 1st paragraph got dropped. Readded with corrections. Sorry about that!
