Listing Declined - Why???

Perhaps eBay has put a block on those items in that particular category. Or perhaps someone thinks it might infringe on copyright, etc. (often they're wrong!). What type of item is it?

An ebook - but then so is the other item that I am offering - which was listed...there are no links in my presentation - straight wording....but anyway - doesn't Auctiva have some sort of help system apart from this board?

Not very informative.....if it knows how to reject the ad it should know WHY and inform me....AUCTIVA - TAKE NOTE - improve your system instead of causing frustration and have me wasting my time here!

It may be that you missed filling out a required field. When it gives you that message, scroll down through the template and see if there is any lettering in red showing you what you missed. (I think I remember seeing red lettering - if you don't see that, look for something else to point you to the field...)

At the very bottom of the one page lister is a very important button called "ERROR CHECK". Kindly re-enter a listing and always check for possible errors/omissions in the listing which will be called to your attention using this all important button.

I missed this the first time I made a listing and have found it a great help. Hope this helps you ArtColombia.

Now got it listed.
There was no red, but I did two changes, don´t know which one might have had cause or effect:
1. I saved it as new.
2. I reduced the number of articles from 10 to 1.

Will keep testing...many thanks once again!

Also, if you ever have a listing that fails, at the top right of the screen is a little box that says "Events" with three colored numbers in it. If the red one is anything other than "0", you can click on it to see what failed.
