Hi. Im new here. I tried to start my first listing yesterday. But it says that the posting was a failure..can someone please tell me why?

Goto the listing that failed, open it as you would to edit it. On the bottom there is a "error check" button. Hit it and it should tell you why it failed.
If it doesn't then file a help ticket on the help page.

I AM HAVING THIS EXACT PROBLEM!!... IT SAYS 'NOT LISTED IN TIME'. WHAT DO I DO TO POST THESE LISTINGS?? THANKS!
if you get "not listed in time" message, be sure to go to ebay and check to see if it's listed or not (and check your email acct for listing notification emails)
I've had it sometimes say that but the listing did go through.
As for what the message means, i *think* it means that auctiva's server tried to list, but ebay's server didnt acknowledge receipt of listing in time before auctiva quit waiting for acknowledgement. Not sure if that's what it means or not, but that's my best guess.
