It worked really fast last week--at 4 in the morning!! When I had that opportunity, I was working between 3 open windows/screens--no kidding!! Got everything listed with no errors--I was tired & my hands hurt, but it did work during that time frame. I will continue to wait (not too long, though!) for them to fix their bandwidth & server problems. I was going to switch over to Vendio & pay, but after reading Vendio's Community board (regarding listings), I noticed they had listing problems--go & check it out for yourself. If Auctiva wants to compete to be #1 & profit in the world of Auction Management, then I'm sure they will do their best to make sure that happens. Just like when eBay first started.....I will try to be patient & wait, however, please, please, good or bad--keep us in the know--let us know what's happening. I need to know updates. Thanks!!
movinon,

This is how you can clear your browser cache:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Preference -> Security -> Cache -> Clear.

Concerning the recent slowness on the Auctiva site...

Due to our high volume of recent signups, our site has slowed down for the past couple of weeks and we're currently working to obtain more bandwidth so that our site will run quickly and smoothly for everyone.

We'll definitely let everyone know when this has been accomplished and we appreciate your patience with regard to this matter.

Patience is a virtue . . . . but does the high volume in sign-ups have anything to do with the fact that the ad creation page doesn't work right? If that's the case, I'll back off searching for an answer and wait for the whole site to come up to speed.

However, is there any way to undo the listings Auctiva automatically altered (added the store view slide show)? Does it mean the check-out process was automatically switched over to Auctiva as well on my existing listings? And if I add new ads the old way, will Auctiva automatically "grab" them and alter the check-out and ad the slide show?

Just want to know what I'm in for.
movinon,

1) To remove the store window from your active listings you must delete the store window html from the html description using eBay's "Revise Item" form. The html description can be found at Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Store Window HTML. The store window html lies between ASW tags.

2) Auctiva checkout can only be applied to listings created through Auctiva so your current listings will still go through eBay checkout.

The ad creation page works fine on our end, as it does for many of our users, but I'm guessing the reason the page won't load for you is due to our bandwidth issue.

movinon,

It may be that your browser needs to be repaired. If you're using Internet Explorer, the following site will provide you with information on how to do that: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318378

You could also try using a different browser. We reccommend using Internet Explorer 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 1.5 for best performance with our site. If you're already using one, you may want to try the other. A free download of Firefox is available at http://www.mozilla.com

I hope this helps=)

-Mike
