Listing shows in "my ebay" but not showing up in category.

Hi,Hope I can help you here,that has happen to me too,I could not find my listings,so what I did was first check to make sure you listed in the category you are searching,also I just copy and paste my exact title, place it in search box and I've always been able to find it that way. Also one time ebay pulled my auction, because I had listed it in the wrong category! Hope I have helped, otherwise you may want to contact ebay.

Thanks for your help. I have searched by exact title and it does appear. It just doesn't appear any other way. The other thing, when I am in "my ebay" and click on the listing, right above the listing it shows which categories I have listed it in, but when I click on the links for the categories the listing isn't there. It feels like a mini-twilight zone!

How would I know if ebay pulled the auction? Wouldn't they e-mail me some type of notification? Thanks again for your help!

OK - here's another wierd bit of info: Now my listing shows up in my second category listing but not the first category. Frustrating! Why would it show up in the second one but not the first? Good grief! LOL

Sounds like an ebay glitch to me!

What is the item? Maybe I can try a search and see if I can find it.

Hello, I'm having the ecxact same problem as Idlegrass1. My listing doesn't even show up when I copy/paste into search box.
I wonder if you ever found out the reason for this problem?
Is it a question of -it takes some time before it shows up-?

Sometimes it does take a while to show up in search results at eBay (this is an eBay issue). There's been some chatter about this very subject on the eBay forums so it might be worth looking around and/or asking your question there.

I'm not sure if there are any tips or tricks though..
