I want my auctions to END at 10:00 pm central standard time....when should I start the listing?

This is how the listing is now:

Time left: 5 hours 53 mins

7-day listing, Ends Jan-04-06 23:50:22 PST

Start time: Dec-28-05 23:50:22 PST

It looks like I should have just started it in CST at 10:00 pm and it would have ended at 10:00 pm one week later. Correct?

This time thing has always been confusing to me.

Yes, that's correct. If you want your listing to end at 10 PM CST, you need to start it at 10 PM CST.
