Hello All, I only have auctions ending on Sundays - 7 day - usually anyway, because I only sell part time. I always schedule them for around 3:30pm central time. But I am curious to know what would be the peak scheduling time for my auctions to end on sunday? I want to schedule so that my auctions end at the best time for the western, central and eastern time zones combined. Any advice? Thanks!

i know alot of it will depend on the type of product and the type of customer.

a seller i know that sells mens stuff does well with them ending in the evening on any night except monday.

i've had better luck with womens stuff ending during lunchtime (so they can buy using puter at work) or early morning.

if you have sellathon, might look at your hits on sellathon page and see when you get the most hits. It will show you day of week, time, etc.
Yeah, that's a really tough question to answer. I generally end all of my auctions between 7:00 and 8:00 PM PST, which means 9:00-10:00 Central and 10:00-11:00 Eastern. This has worked okay for me but I admit I haven't experimented a whole lot with times.

For Sunday, though, I would think evening would be best since it allows for that much more weekend traffic..

Some people say, though, that Monday is as important as Sunday and ending on Monday gives you an extra day of weekend-type traffic. Your mileage may vary..

Edited because my conversions were slightly off!

Yes, I have had pretty good success the few times I have had monday ending auctions. Maybe its because its the day after sunday and those that didnt win their auctions are seeking to win one. Who knows why..lol. I found a site once that had an actual calendar of the best listing times for each day...but I cant remember what site it was and i cant seem to find it again...I pretty sure it had the word auction in its title though.

www.mpire.com can show you when's the best time and day to list your item, based on similar sales in the last days. It's free too.
