listings not posting

Hey everyone,

I am helping a Newbie list an auction! Is there a lag today (9/2) in listings? I have posting her listing and it says it has posted to ebay, but then it doesn't show up in "my ebay" or in "active listings in auctiva.

Anyone know what's up?

If you click on the listing tab, when that screen come up, click on events at the top. That will often explain if and why a listing failed. Mine have always showed there if they failed to post for any reason.

As long as the listings show in 'my ebay', they are posted. Ebay sometimes takes up to 12 hours to index listings so they're searchable

ok, gosh I guess even a long time seller can have a HUGE blond moment! The reason for this "not posting" situation, is that my friend had NEVER set herself up an ebay seller account:-) OMG!

I have been selling on ebay for 10 years and things were different back then---that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

So she is now officially a seller and up and running:-) Thanks for all the support for my blond moment.
