Hi Community,

We are currently experiencing a technical problem with our posting service that is causing a number of listings our users have selected to post or schedule to not post immediately and instead get stuck in "processing" or "posting" status on the Scheduled Listings page.

Our engineering team has been aware of this problem since it started a little while ago and is working to get the issue resolved as soon as possible.

If any of the items on your Scheduled Listings page show a status of "posting" or "processing", I would not recommend trying to post them again right away because they still may end up getting posted to eBay successfully as our system catches up with the posting queue.

I will post further updates on this issue to this thread as additional information becomes available. We apologize for any inconveniences this issue is causing.

Hello again. The posting problem mentioned in this thread is still ongoing so I don't have a lot of encouraging news to share at the moment, but I would like to reassure everyone that our engineering team is still working diligently on the problem and will continue until everything is running smoothly again.

Many of the listings that were stuck in "posting" or "processing" status when I started this thread have ended up failing to post to eBay but others have posted to eBay successfully.

If you have listings fail to post due to this issue, it would probably be best to wait until the current posting problem has been fully resolved before trying to post them again to make sure they don't get stuck during the process again.

I will continue to post further updates on this situation to this thread as additional information becomes available. Thank you all for your patience as we deal with this problem.

I just received another update on this situation from our engineering team and it appears we have things straightened out such that listings scheduled to post at 7:30 PM PT and later are posting successfully (and on time) for the most part.

There are still a great deal of listings that were scheduled to post before then which are stuck in "posting" or "processing" status on the Scheduled Listings page and, while most of those listings will likely end up failing to post, some of them will post successfully.

One more update: While we expect that almost all of the posting failure records on the Auctiva Scheduled Listings and Notifications pages will be correct, we have seen a couple instances in which listings that were recorded as failures within Auctiva actually did post to eBay successfully.

Therefore, I would recommend checking your eBay account or your Auctiva Active Listings page to verify whether your listings that were recorded as failures within Auctiva actually did fail to post before relisting them.

We will do our best to identify the source of this problem and make sure something of this nature does not happen again next week.

Unfortunately, we have encountered another technical issue with our posting service that is causing a number of listings that have been scheduled to post since about 3:30 PM PT this afternoon to get stuck in "posting" or "processing" status on the Scheduled Listings page instead of posting immediately.

Our engineering team is currently working to get this problem resolved as soon as possible. This does not appear to be nearly as bad as the occurrence of the issue last night, but there will likely still be quite a few listings that fail to post due to the problem.

I will post further updates on this issue to this thread as additional information becomes available. We are very sorry about all the recent posting problems and are doing everything we can to get things stabilized once again.

Hi Community,

We have continued to monitor this situation and it appears that we have the problem resolved for the most part. While there are still some listings that should have posted already (mostly between 3 PM PDT and 4 PM PDT), all the listings that were scheduled to post after 5 PM PDT seem to be posting successfully with slight to no delays.

If you have any listings that are stuck in “posting” or “processing” status on your Scheduled Listings page, I recommend waiting to attempt to repost them until they have been confirmed as failures within your Auctiva account and you have verified that they did not post to eBay successfully within your eBay account.

I will update this thread if I become aware of any changes with respect to this situation. As it stands now, new listings are being posted successfully and at the right time and those of you who have listings stuck in “ posting” or “processing” status will just have to wait to see what happens with those.
