Listings won't link up with store category

How do I link my listings with the current store categories that I have? The only way I have been able to do this is to revise the listing while in Ebay and select the store category which frankly is a waste of time. Can anyone help me with this or I am doing something incorrect?

I'm not too familiar with store stuff because I don't have one BUT: Have you tried My Account>eBay Settings>Update Store Categories from eBay?
