Stacey , Im looking for the same things you are i believe , i need somthing to record price paid ,price sold , net profit etc , ive checked into Peachtree & Quickbooks , which are all kind of pricey ,but of course there is Ebay , Excel is on Windows Office , which is fairly cheap and not hard to find , but its pretty generic , let me know what you came up with , would you please ?
Our classic Auctiva site has a desktop application called eBud that is still has many users relying on it for post auction management functionality.

If you have specific questions as to what it can do, I'll have the main eBud programmer pop in on here and answer questions for you.

You can download it and find out some more info on the program here:

I know eBay has the sellers assistant but must be subscribed to one of their pay services to get that free. Customer service said to copy and paste the invoice information into Excel. I think you can do the same with paypal. Then you just have to move things around. I guess it is better than having to input it manually.

I checked out eBud and it sounds good but I can't afford it right now. I really don't like products that you have to pay monthly, rather just buy it and be done. Unless someone else can come up with something.

Thanks

Stacey

Looks great , im really looking for something that i can use to mainly keep track of costs though , its got quite a bit more than i need built in to it , and while its comparable in price to similar programs , its really more than i can afford at the moment .
its definitely something to keep in mind though as my business grows and an auto email program becomes neccessary ( Big dreams here LOL )
I really, really like the auctiva facilities site, but I too want a tool which does what you ask, as well as post sales tracking, automated emails and feedback etc, plus facility to set up and keep track of store items. I tried Auctionsage free for a month, but it is soooooo difficult to navigate.

It looks to me that your Classic Auctiva suite of resources are decidely outdated in comparison to what Free Auctiva can do ........ so what to do? Am I right in this assumption? You have been hinting for months that there is a phase 2 to Auctiva Free - WHEN? and WHAT? I can't wait much longer. I need a solution now! Frog
Have you guys checked out "Sales Reports" from ebay you can find it under my subscriptions in my ebay. I just signed up for it ..the free one...and its pretty cool. But I'm also looking for something just a little better where I can add my product costs. I like how it shows you your combined ebay & paypal fees for the previous month. Check it out.
This comes recommended from another site I belong to - I'm thinking about giving it a shot:

I don't have Excell but I did just download OpenOffice for FREE Wink

I was using Shotting Star and I love the way it automatically grabbed everything from ebay - all I had to do was enter the PP fees myself but they changed their price and its no longer affordable for me.

I have 2 ebay stores and I tried the ebay accounting that load to quickbooks and I really liked it but I used a trial version of quickbooks so now I need to buy the program if I want to continue to use it.
