Losing description when save as new

Wow so this is 2 years later but I just had the same thing happen! Sadly, I wasn't paying attention and all the auctions I wrote up and clicked save as new vanished! Hours of work down the drain! That will teach me not to copy and paste everything to word.

Hi- I just checked the 'save as new' function on several previously saved listings and all worked as it should, ie my original listing and the new saved listing were retained and nothing disappeared. I would suggest that you file a support request on this issue and let the tech folks take a look. You are correct in saving your descriptions in Word or Notepad just in case things go awry, as they occasionally do.
