Hello, I need help. I am new to Auctiva and for the past two days I have been trying to list items and have only managed to succesfully save 1. I keep getting hung up on saving an item and once was not able to even view the templates. Now I can't even get on the site and can't get on the help site either. activa.com/help. I have cleared my internet temp files and still am unable to get on. All other websites are working just fine! Help please!

Make sure your images are optimized to the right size (400 x 300) for faster uploading. Anything larger than that is a huge file and gobbles up resources (yours) while uploading and can cause the process to be kicked out.

I use a free software...called Irfanview.

When switching browsers solves web problems you can look to either spyware or system troubles in your Windows installation as the cause.

The easiest thing to try would be to run a spyware removal program or two, and a virus scan. It's not as easy to diagnose Windows problems or fix them so maybe someone else knows a good way to reinstall IE 6.x or 7.

Yep a good portion of the postings are solved when they change their pop up blocker settings or allowing via firewall Auctiva. Or trying different browsers or dumping cache, history, temp files etc.
