Anyone checking notifications. In past few days have gotten some unknowns. Also, received notice from ebay that a violated policy by duplicate listing.

After investigating auctiva showed 2 of same item as failures to post. After the lst one, a few minutes after I listed the item again it came through as not posted failure. thankfully I did not do a 3rd round..because ebay ended one and sent duplicate violation notice.

I did write auctiva, and as is norm (WHY I do this on week-end is UNKNOWN to me...mental note. .self...don't waste your time on weekends!) Of course, no other reports of problems so once again it is just me???

Support rep sent link about duplicates policy and cut/paste of policy to show, I guess, what I did wrong.

Also sent note about auctiva plan stating that I was not charged for the duplicate since I have unlimited plan...whew....worried about that one.

Then said I could call ebay and see if they will refund me. YES, I immediately made beeline to phone to call ebay to get my 5 cents fee back. (obviously, I am NOT concerned with the 5 cents but am concerned that this shows NOT posted twice and actually did post). ]

Next time I get a speeding ticket and pay it, I think I will then write and ask for my money back...do you think that will work?

IF anyone is having notification issues please post as I am being told this is just my problem....

IF in fact it is my problem?? Then I need auctiva to tell me what I did so I do not repeat this violation. Not give me info. about the policy, or my unlimited plan OR getting my 5 cents refunded.

Anyone having them please post. . maybe it is just me. . again????

I have posted about the same issue in the past. i get a notice that an item did not post due to "failure".

I used to immediately repost the item that failed. After receiving duplicate notices, I now check the active listings because at least half of the time the notice is erroneous and the item did in fact post.

I don't think this happens when the notice suggest api failure. in those instances (and trust me I check) the item actually did not post.

The issues I have experiences is when the notification describes the failure to post as "failure".

I have had serious repercussions to duplicates violations and I double check everything. I even audit all my listings by using the active listings folder and filing by title, every day and sometimes twice a day.
