Hello all,
I have been using Auctiva for a couple of months now and have posted dozens of auctions without any problems. I have recently upgraded my operating system from 10.4.3 to 10.4.4. And now I am encountering a few issues.
Regarding Auctiva, I can no longer select an image for an auction because there is no option for that...the words just are not there. Also, I couldn't have posted to this forum if it hadn't been for the virtual PC I am running...my mac side just would not do it..click click, nothing.
It is not just Auctiva that causes my problems but I can not boot from my personal bootable disks like Disk Warrior, and I can not manually upload images to my webhost---FTP does still work fine though.
So, if you are wanting to upgrade to 10.4.4, WAIT until Apple has worked out the bugs. That is if you want to post Auctions.

Thanks for the heads-up. I think I'll wait on upgrading now. It's not to often the Apple releases a System update with such bugs...I'd imagine 10.4.5 will follow quickly. I know some people at Apple, I'll try and get in touch with them and see if they are aware of this.

BTW, I'm glad to see you were finally able to post! The more Mac Users the merrier, I always say Wink
Well, I am still on Virtual PC writing this post. However, I did find out some things about my problems. Seems that this is effecting people on imac and emac machines. I have a smokin fast emac, but the software is just a bit different. So, I am going back down to 10.4.3, untill I can resolve these issues. My friend has a powerbook and he can CD boot and log into my account a see images just fine. So this is native to my emac, I think you will be just fine upgrading. The only issue that effects a lot of upgraders is the sleep issue, hard time waking up.

Have a super day!
