mailing posters - bags for protection?

I have never sold posters on eBay put, I wrap everything I sell in garbage bags. I use the cheapest kind you can get (you know, the kind that Glad used to make fun of in their commericials ).

It seems like you could do the same for posters. Put them in one end and roll the bag around and tape the top. Moisture stays out for pennies.

Yeah, that's a good idea. I've actually been using plastic bags from Target for other large-ish items but I was hoping to find something that was specifically made for this purpose.

On a related note, I'd love to find plastic bags/covers at around 11×17" (for shipping original art) but haven't found them yet...

I have mailed posters and also blueprints in the past and if you go to usps.com, you can get free priority boxes that are made especially for mailing blueprints, posters or any item that you can roll up. I hope this information helps you.

Thanks very much, Nancie. In fact, I just received my shipment of Priority Mail "tubes" yesterday!

I'm concerned, though, because I think they allow for a lot more moisture to come in than regular mailing tubes, so I'll have to put the posters in some kind of plastic bag first (which I would've done anyway, really).
