I don't see this as a big deal myself. I have been a member of eBay for many years. I have not been a seller in quite awhile; but when I was, I always stated my return policy in my auctions. This is a no-brainer. I would hesitate to buy from anyone who does not tell me if I can or cannot return something.
As far as the jewelry policy, I am glad to have this clarification. I used to sell handmade jewelry and deciding what catagory to place it in was sometimes difficult. This will make things easier for both buyer and seller, as well as cut down on fraud.
I am more worried about Auctiva's sudden change from a free site to a pay site and the concurrent changes to the new pricing structure. You need to decide on something and let it go at that. The people who can stay wiil, and the ones who want something for nothing will leave. There is no such thing as a free lunch. Some who leave may find out they have jumped from the frying pan into the fire.
