Modifying Return Policy

I want to modify my return policy to adhere with eBay and I have my profile set up to do returns within 7 days, merchandise credit only and the buyer pays the return shipping. However, when I am doing a listing and I click on the Modify Return Policy at the bottom, my original profile shows for a second and then another one comes up on the screen with returns within 3 days, exchange only and buyer pays return shipping. I have to keep going in and replace that information with my correct info. What am I doing wrong? TIA

If you are choosing the profile that has the correct return policy, you don't need to hit "modify return policy" or else it will reset whatever you had in your original profile.
Just don't hit the modify return policy button or it will mess it up again.

Trouble is, I keep getting account alerts about the return policy so I thought I would re-do it. Why do I keep getting those alerts?

Everybody is seeing those alerts==if you have a return policy in place, just ignore it. Auctiva is just trying to make sure everyone is aware of the changes that eBay has been making.
