I gave up on using my own template and decided to go with one of Auctivas because I read that they were ready to go. Well I tried customizing one but when I tried to save it, it kept saying can't have more than one description. So I started over and didn't even try to customize, but still kept saying the same thing. I just took one from the template gallary and pasted to a practice board and look what I get. Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with the templates? I tried it on Auctivas practice board with the same results. Pleas help, I have been working on this for two days and am going crazy!

In order to use one of our ready-made templates without customizing it you only have to select it from the listing page and it will be automatically applied to your auction description when it is posted to eBay (so there is no cutting/pasting of HTML code or saving it from the custom template page required) You can see what it looks like from the auction Preview button on the bottom of the listing page. I hope that helps.

Hi Kitcat,

If you still want to try customizing an auctiva template or yuur own then try this. The reason it is giving you this error message " you can't have more than 1 description" actually means you have not put ANY description tags in the template.

look for this [DESCRIPTION] In the template tags and insert this tag where you want your description information to appear in your auction template.

does that make any sense ?

Carol.
