Moving Store Window in a Template

I am a newbie and enjoying learning to use Auctiva.

I decided I like the Store Window feature but want it at the bottom of the item description instead of at the top where the template I'm using has it. So I read about and started playing with Custom Templates.

My questions:

It looks like the preview does not show the Store Window, just the tag for it. Is there a way to do a preview that allows me to see the Store Window? Also, I think Auctiva inserts some links and such in an auction that I don't see in a preview. Any way to do a preview where I see *everything* that will appear on the auction?

Is there a way to choose which items appear in my store window? For example, say I sell footballs and baseballs. Can I set it up so that the store window on my football auctions only shows my other football auctions and none of my baseball auctions?

not sure about the preview question - hopefully donna, lisa, or someone else will come along and answer.

as for choosing which items appear in store window - the answer is yes and no. In order to prevent an item from appearing in your store window, you have to hide it from appearing in your auctiva store. This means that when a person clicks "view my other items" link in store window, they wont see the hidden items.

Here's what I do but it only works if you have a custome template if you pick one of Auctiva's templates you won't have the Store Window in your listings . . .

Turn off the Store Window so that it is not inserted into your listings automatically, I then take this tag [STORE_WINDOW] and insert it at the very end of my templates. This will put the window in your listings at the very end.

You can use this tag to insert it anywhere you want in you listing as well

lmao ... well thank you for smile, but html "gibberish" is outta my ball park. lol .. someday I'll learn, but when there is such great people like Danielle, and kathy and the many others always offering to help it makes it easy not to learn, lol.
