multi-variations glitch?

When Im trying to use the multi-variations option, I put in the price for each, then the price option on the listing page disappears. I go to save it and it wont let me save because i havent put in a buy it now price. Also, there cant be a best offer on these?

ok i figured it out. You cant have a different priced item in with them.
