My ebay item does not show when searching

Hi there,
I am having the same problems! I am very frustrated...as I cancelled one auction yesterday thinking it was just a one time error. Well...today both my listings I can't find when I search. What gives!!??

I'm sure there are a lots of sellers having the same problems, Where is the help from Auctiva Admin.???!!!!!!

As posted many times in the Forum, it can take normally 5-6 hours on average for a new listing to complete indexing and categorizing to appear in search or in category on ebay.

You aren't unique, we all have seen the problem over the past year or so. Is there a difference between ebay submitted and Auctiva? Well, I've seen suggestions that those listed using ebay scheduler might get some pre-scan that gets them done faster. ebay is doing more screening for fraud and other problems, so that is also part of the slow-down, IMO. Is that also part of the reason for 3rd party (Auctiva) submissions getting more scrutiny or queued for Cating and Indexing, MAYBE.

Thank you for the information. You are correct...I just went back into search both my listings and they are there! I did have one though went for a full 24-hrs and did not show up, not sure what happened, maybe a different error. In any case...good to have someone experienced helping out with answers!

You're welcome.

Always check the Events counters and page at top right on the Auctiva main page to see if your submssions were successful or had errors on submission. That's a quick check to make sure the auctions are at least posted. They should also immediately show in "My ebay" (or at least mine do).

Great...I will check that too. I am definitely new at this software...so tool hints like the Events are good to understand. I'm sure trouble shooting will be easier the more I post. Again, TY for the input!

Hi everyone...lately I've just posted directly from a new or edited listing, and to my surprise, the listing shows up in my 'items for sale' almost immediately. I just listed an item a few minutes ago, and it shows up in my other items, AND I just did a search and it appeared fine in the search results. I didn't use the Auctiva scheduler as I got tired of wondering whether it would be 2, 3, 6 hours before my new listings appeared...lately I've just posted immediately (I don't list a lot of items so this works for me). The only difference is I am posting things on the eBay US site, rather than the eBay AU site which is where I started. Could the indexing perhaps be instantaneous on the US site??? I have no idea, I'm just guessing

But whatever it is, I'm grateful that my listings appear to be viewable and searchable almost straight away...

Hi I am having the same dramas I have been on to ebay and they said that the auctiva listings are containing java script which is banned he told me to cancel them then gave me a credit - what now
