My first eBay postings

Hi.

If the items don't appear on eBay, then you haven't listed them!

Check out the numbers near ther top of your Auctiva page. You should have a green 4 if you've successfully listed 4 items.

If you have a red 4, then the items have not listed.

Click on the red number, and a page will come up telling you what went wrong.

I have just done a search on eBay, and *lo and behold!* they are all there - I must have just been too impatient, wanting them to be there straight away!!

Having said that, Auctiva says they are all listed successfully, but I do get "notice" messages in the orange link, that say:

API Warning

Insurance option has been turned off since it is not available.

Do I need to worry about this, or can I just delete these messages??

Hi Kitten,
As long as you see your listings in 'my ebay' they are definitely posted. It just takes awhile for Ebay to index them, and thus for them to show up in a search. Also if you revise anything, it will be indexed yet again.
I don't think you need to worry about the warning if you do not use the insurance anyway.
