I am having a problem with the listing facility.

When I put my images into the listing a click preview, there are no images.
It took a while to realise that you have to put 3 images in for one to show up.
I contacted support, and they acknowledge the problem, saying it is a problem with using a custom header image, and said they had no eta for a fix. I wrote back saying this wasn't acceptable to me, a paying customer, to have no eta, and the response back was still "there is no eta, and as a workaround, don't use a custom image.
I am staggered by this response, when I am paying yearly for my service to be told that I have to stop using a feature that I want to use. I realise that things break and might take time to fix, but to not be willing to give an estimate for fixing the problem is insulting to me as a paying customer, and says to me they don't care about the customer at all. This is not the first time I have been given the brush off from support, but this is the first time I have come here to vent my frustration.

Has anyone else had this problem with the images as I have ?

Thanks for helping to bring this issue to our attention. I was unable to locate the support case you referred to based on the information available to me but there is a current issue with our software which can cause some images not to show up on the preview page when a “custom” header image is selected.

Our technical team is working on correcting that issue with an upcoming site update but, as you mentioned you were informed, we are unable to offer a specific estimate of when the issue will be resolved at this time.

That being said, this issue is specific to the preview page so you should still be able to post your items in the mean time and all of the images you added to the Auctiva Image Selection section should be visible when they are submitted to eBay.

I understand your frustration regarding not knowing when this issue will be resolved, but I'm afraid we are just not in a position to provide an estimate yet. We will, however, follow up with you through your case as soon as the issue has been addressed or any other pertinent information becomes available.

I was told about the fact that the images will show up on ebay, and I can always just not use the custom header image until just before I save the listing, thereby being able to preview the images in the template. It's not really the point though is it. The technical team should be able to give and ideaat least, as to when it will be fixed, i.e. days or weeks. I don't think this is too much to ask, and it has already been a few days, and that is just since I found out about it, it could have been like this for a while.

Perhaps you can get more information now the you know the case number ?

Thanks for getting back to me about this. I reviewed your support case and confirmed the issue you reported is indeed the one I referred to in my previous response, but I do not have any other details about the issue to share with you at this time.

As I mentioned in my previous reply, our technical team has been looking into the issue and we will address it as soon as possible, but I cannot currently offer you a specific estimate of when it will be resolved..

We will keep you posted on the issue through support case # 569225 as any additional information becomes available though. I regret that I cannot provide you with the estimate you are seeking, but we appreciate the feedback nonetheless.

I'm pleased to hear that you are no longer experiencing this behavior as of today. I am not aware of any changes that have been made which should have corrected this issue, but I just did some testing in your account and some others for which the issue had been reported and I am no longer able to reproduce the issue at this time either.

I will follow up with our technical team about this issue again and get to the bottom of what has transpired with respect to this issue. We will do our best to improve on whatever led to this apparent communication lapse.
