I am having some dificulty using a template that I tweaked a little to place on Ioffer. Everything is okay, but the image is not showing. I saved the image onto auctiva. it is not in any specific folder. however, i just copied the url to the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGE]. That is I placed it into the image area. but no image. I know iam doing this wrong, and I am very new to html, so if someone can help out , I'd be much appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

I am not sure if this is what you are talking about, but if you want to add a picture directly into the listing editor instead of using the image selection boxes below the editor, you go to the one page lister, go to item description editor box, click in the description area where you want a picture, then click on the little box to the left of UserLinks (it's called "FreeTivaImage"), then select the pic you want, it should then appear in the editor window.

Ricky
??? I am not really sure as to what yo are saying. lol, I'm sorry I really am very new to the grammar that you use or terminology to Auctiva and Html. As I said before though. I have pics that I uploaded onto Auctiva, via their image upload. I have a listing that I wanted to link the pics to. The layout or template is from Auctiva. I tried placing the url of the pic on auctiva to the image section of [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGE], however I cannot get the image to display. If there is anyone that can help me, please let me know how I can link the pics I have to the template I have on an auction I have in Ioffer. PLease try to make it easy for me to understand, I usuually pay someone to this. So I have very little clue to terminology. Thanks
Hi!

Do you just need the html for your listing for your auction on ioffer? If so, here is what I would do.

Set up your listing in Auctiva. DO NOT replace the Auctica image tag [Desription_and_Image] with the URL of your pic. This can mess up the link I believe. Just use the listing page and set up the auction the way you want it (choosing the pics you want) and then save it.

Then go to your Saved Listings and check the box next to the item you want to get the html for. After checking the box, go to the top of the page and click on "Get Html". By doing that, another box will open up with the html in it. Just copy and paste this html code into your auction on ioffer.

Hope that is clear. If not, let us know!

Lol, yes and no. But I believe I understood the general process, however, it still does not link to Ioffer. However, all I need is to link the images to auctiva. That is where I have the [images] section all I need is to have the correct html to link these images to ioffer. After all, what I am doing is just linking an image to ioffer, same as we would do for ebay. Well, thanks guys. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. I'll be checking out some html graphics sites as well. thanks.
Hi,

I don't know if this will help, but here is the link from my Auctiva auctions for a picture, it appears that Auctiva changes the file name for each pic with numbers, in this case it relaced the original name with 18677717_o , and as far as I can tell, the numbers /1/6/6/3/4/9/ are my account with Auctiva since those numbers appear on all of my image links. You can get this link for your pics in the Images section.

(Now comes the funny & stupid part) I had forgot the actual html code for the image, the image tag. Low and behold, I come onto auctiva and "booksusa" has it displayed, lol. In any manner thank you guys soo very much for everything, Books ty very much. Have a great Week everyone!
