I recently opened a new account and opened a new Paypal and ebay account as well. I initially only linked a savings account in Paypal, but a listing error indicated I needed a credit card attached to my Paypal account. I added a card and rescheduled my listings. They did not go on - again the same message that I need a credit card linked to my Paypal account. How can I resolve this? All my accounts - ebay and Paypal are open and verified. Help!!

Hi clockpeddler2,

Thanks for letting us know about this. The API error message that eBay is returning in response to your posting attempts actually doesn't have anything to do with your Paypal account. Based on the content of this error message, it sounds like you will need to place a credit card on file with your eBay account for the automatic monthly billing of your seller fees.

Once you have placed a credit card on file with your eBay account for the automatic payment of your seller fees, you should be able to post your listings successfully. If you continue to receive this error after doing so and therefore believe this error message is being generated without merit, I recommend contacting eBay's customer support team to see what else you need to do.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer support team using the web form on the following page of our site: http://www.auctiva.com/help/requesthelp.aspx
