Hell all, my name is K and I'm a rookie to all of this. I recently started selling on ebay, and after finding out about the activa site i signed up and started using them to help me create my listings. I even purchaed the URL option. Everything worked great, and now I hear that there creating a store for us to escape the ebay FEES.. which I think it awesome!.. My issue is im very new and other than making listing i dont know my way around and now i'm afraid that once the store opens i'll be completely lost. My questions are:

1. How will i be able to sign up for the store?
2. Will I lose my URL or will all that stuff carry over?
3. How will the sellers be able to get the word out to potential buyers.

The Auctiva store is only in beta testing right now...if I were you, I would first familiarize myself further with Ebay and Auctiva, get the hang of things so to speak. Since you don't know your way around just yet, keep it simple for now. I've been selling AND using Auctiva for a long time, yet the Auctiva e-commerce store is confusing even to me Smile I'd give it a little time first.
have tried many sites besides ebay and still useing some ( most folded because they could not keep sellers without biders and could not keep bidders without sellers) do not expect miricles from auctiva store till after its been up and running a long time , not trying to be negative , just have been there too many times. i have a thousand items at non ebay sites and still generate most of my sales ( and fees also unfortunatly) from ebay, some very good sites have closed and they were dwecent but in long run just did not compete , golds , sellyouritem, even yahoo and msn auctions could not continue with thier large number of potential bidders. again no negative on the auctiva site just realistic
