New ART Categories and Item Specifics - when?

eBay has rolled out changes in the Art Category.

Self-Representing Artist will be replaced by "Direct from the Artist". There are a number of other changes, too.

When will Auctiva be updating their Item Specifics to reflect this? At this point, if I use Auctiva's out-dated auction page, my auction will not show up in eBay's Search!!

So...when can we expect an update? I may not be able to sell with an out-dated system.

Is this still an issue? Sometimes it just takes
eBay a while to update itself.

Hi nanartchik,
By browsing the category selections on the Auctiva listing page...I think I see what you are referring to. The 'self-representing' art sub-category choice is what I believe you say will be 'replaced' by ebay. I'm not sure when the ebay changes will take place (maybe they have already). But if (or when) ebay makes the change...and then if you subsequently find that the Auctiva category-selection-list doesn't automatically reflect the change accordingly ... I'd go ahead and suggest you file a support-request with Auctiva about this issue. ~Zeb
