Hi there, I've been gradually working on changing my listings so that they comply with ebay's new policy of not accepting paper payments. What worries me is that when I've had to go in and revise an item on the ebay side, it comes up with the message:

It appears that you are offering checks as a payment method which is no longer permitted in the eBay marketplace. As of January 15th, we will be removing any items that offer this payment method within the listing. Sellers must offer to accept one or more of the following payment methods...

Anyone think we should be worried? These are items that I've already changed to reflect the new policy.

I just don't want to go to all this work of changing my payment policy on each listing just to have ebay cancel them all anyway come Jan 15.

I'm hoping it is a blanket generic message. It worries me that it says, "It appears YOU are offering checks..." A blanket message would simply state that checks are no longer accepted.

Hmmm...
Even though you've revised your listings to be in compliance with the new payments policy, also check your descriptions and payment instructions very carefully. If you have checks or money orders mentioned there (I know I have a few that still keep slipping through despite my best efforts) that could be causing the problem with ebay.
