NEWBIE needs some help!

Hi All-

I am an Auctiva newbie and have, in the past, created all my listings from scratch.

I decided to try and use a template this time, and after I selected my template and "added it to listing" nothing shows up. I am not able to change, create, add descriptions, etc. It also won't appear in the editor. Can someone please help with this... I feel like an idiot, but I am lost.

First, did you select "save to listing" on the template selection page?

Second, what OS and browser are you using if you did that?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yes, I selected "Save to Listing", and it appears in the little "Template" box, but nothing appears in the large editor above. I can't see anything to make changes or edit. Also, no HTML appears.

I am running Windows XP Home and IE.

Hi Greg,

Once you select a template, it won't be reflected in the editor box. You can preview what your listing will look like with the template by clicking the "Preview" button near the bottom of the page.

If you wish to make changes to one of our stored templates, you must create a custom template using our "Create from Existing" function. Just go to Auctiva -> Listings(tab) -> Manage(Custom Templates) -> Create from Existing. On this page, you can make any changes to the template and save. Once you do that, your new template will be avialable in your auctiva template library under "Custom".
