Hi! I just signed up this morning. I really like most of Auctiva; some of it's clunky.

One thing that makes me crazy is it takes a long time to load the display and the screen fragments while it's loading.

I have some questions:

(1) The scrolling thingy over on Ebay (name escapes me) is still not showing my pictures. From reading the other posts, there's a time delay. But, it's been since this morning, shouldn't the pictures be showing up by now??

(2) I've already figured out that you can't do ISBN lookups. Last I read, there are no plans for that. Is that correct??

Are there any other booksellers here. Do you have any workarounds?? I've been doing as much as I can on the Auctiva side and then uploading to Ebay and completing the listing. That actually works better than the Turbo-Lister which crashed continually for me. I wasted a whole week on Turbo-Lister before I finally gave up on it.

(3) I have about 3 dozen existing listings that were created before I started using Auctiva. Is there any way to modify the shipping parameters on the existing listings using Auctiva??

Thanks.

Barbara,

1) If images aren't being displayed in your store window, it may be because they're stock images. Stock images can't be imported by Auctiva and therefore can't be displayed on the Auctiva store and store window. If this isn't the reason, feel free to file a support request using the appropriate link on our help page and our support staff will assist you.

2) We don't have prefilled information for books and DVDs...no plans to add that feature either.

3) No, if you want to modify the shipping parameters for existing listings, you must do so from eBay's "Revise Item" form.

I hope this helps=)

I would agree with keshets regarding the listing of books ONLY so far as for newer books which have an ISBN. For those, I guess the listings would have to be done directly on eBay.

For vintage and antique books that do not have an ISBN, Auctiva is just great! I have a hundred or so vintage/antique books that I need to list, and I certainly do not see any problem with creating the listings for them in Auctiva.
