No option for 'Other / See Item Description' in Payment Methods

I'm wondering since eBay barred everyone from accepting cash payments (except in your type auctions) that's the reason Auctiva doesn't have it.

There's a posting today about an auction that wouldn't even go through to eBay due to an API error. That error was Western Union in the text.

So I have to think that even if you were able to accept cash, I wonder if the API would allow it to go through..hmmmmmmmmmm....I just don't know but it could be the reason.

When you find out, be sure to post the answer as I'm prone to sell locally every once in awhile. When the item doesn't sell through my local Yahoo groups..then I fall back onto eBay.

You can still put other options in Payment Instructions box (under checkout options when creating a listing) which will show up in ebay's payment instructions area at very bottom of listing.

and of course can put payment instructions in description and in Seller Details Profile.

The problem isn't with the payment text, it is with the missing payment method that Auctiva doesn't support which eBay provides when listing through their site. For pickup items I don't want to accept anything but cash, no Paypal, no Money Orders, no Personal Checks, so I want all these checkboxes unchecked. But when I do this Auctiva won't let me post the listing to eBay because it doesn't pass its error checking. Auctiva requires me to accept either Paypal or Money Order/Cashier's Check or Personal Check in order to post or schedule the listing. After the listing has posted I have to then change this so that some bidder doesn't think they can pay with one of these options once the auction closes.
