I have listed several items on Ebay two days ago, using Auctiva.
Photos have gone onto listing without problem. Haved added photos no problem.
I have selected the full gallery which displays correctly on the Auctiva page.
It is also showing as enabled, but over on Ebay, i just have a big blue gallery with no photos of my items.
HELP Please.

Hi balimar01,

That sounds like a problem with Auctiva getting the image from eBay for the Auctiva Store and Scrolling Gallery.

I'd suggest you open a Support Case, so Auctiva can investigate why the image won't import.

Hi Honest,

It sounds like you have a different problem with the one-page lister. Which Operating System and browser are you using?

I'm using a Mac OS X, 10.5.5 and I am using Firefox. But I downloaded these pictures using software OnyX. I was told that if I wanted to download more than one picture at a time (Basic download on Auctiva), I needed to use a different software. I usually download on my PC and then access Auctiva on my Mac. I only use my PC to download pictures, I work off of my Mac. My PC is down (what a surprise!), thus I tried to download my pictures on my Mac. Bad idea??? Some of the pictures seem to be ok...the the majority of them cannot be found. I am able to get them on Gallery, but then when I preview, they are not there (empty boxes). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Donna
Hi Donna,

I did some Auctiva Uploader tests recently using the PC version of Safari browser and posted the results in the Forum. I also discovered that Sarfari has a Masquerade mode, where it can emulate other browsers, e.g. the Firefox browser. I also tested the Auctiva Uploader and did some checks with the one-page for other related problems using Firefox.

Here is the Forum link with my posts including the tip on how to masquerade:

I don't know if Safari can be used as a workaround for Mac users, but it might be worth a try. Note, I believe you need to set the masquerade each time you launch the browser. The function is obviously for testing or workarounds for pages that won't operate correctly with Safari. Since IE uses ActiveX, the IE emulation won't work (Safari has no ActiveX support).

I've also been doing some interesting tests with Linux and Firefox.

Hi Donna,

I found the one-page to work with Safari. The only glitchy issue was the Description box needed toggling to HTML and back to Standard to get any saved text, etc. to appear. Otherwise, it seems to work for PC version of Safari with the Firefox 2.0.0.12 - Windows emulation.

The only Safari setting (from Defaults at install) that needed change was to allow Pop-Ups.

Please post back any problems you encounter, as this could be a workaround for the Mac users with Firefox problems. I continue to test....
