I have just spent over two hours trying to upload pictures...Auctiva really is great but come on...what's up doc!! what am i doing...the pic is only approx 1000 x 500 pixels ??? Thanx
Hi, usually the speed is restricted by your available broadband speed, (Maintenance times Thursday night/Friday Morning and Sundays evening auction frenzy excepted).
Normally I find uploads are fast even with images about that size you were trying to upload.
Do you mean it was taking 2 hours or were you making repeated attempts over that time, bit more info please.
About hours with repeated attempts...Unfortunately i use dial up becuase i can not get a phone line where i live and therefore use my mobile as a modem...i have decided to revise each item in ebay listigns which does upload quicker...?
Hi, that is probably your problem, dial-up typically at 56kbit/s is probably far too slow for what you are trying to do.
Most sites now transfer so much information to display thier pages on your PC and so much is transferred to Auctiva when editing on line that I think you are lucky for it to be working at all.
I occasionally have hiccups on my modest 1Mbit/s broadband when using my slow PC.
