Not happy I have to MANUALLY change all listings again!

If auctiva were free it would be different but I pay for this service and a few months ago I was told that when my category stopped the item specifics and I had to use custom now they couldnt come up with anything to do it in bulk.

So I have spent the last few months MANUALLY changing item specifics on 1000's of listings...I still am not done yet.

NOW the category I use changed its number from 307 to 176984 and I was told again they couldnt do something to bulk change this.

SO now I cant list ANYTHING until I make the change again MANUALLY so now I have to MANUALLY change 1000's more listings just so I can list and the site is not fast to begin with

so when I want to list a bunch of stuff tonight I first have to MANUALLY change the category number before I can list so listing in 2 minutes will now be listing in an hour or 2.

one more thing if you don't have to change your listing for some other reason you should be able to re-list from the Closed Folder. Right now I haven't changed the listings in Auctiva for the same reason as you. but I can simply re-list my items because eBay is smart enough to know what my new category is

All my listings are in folders, I want to put up 10 items for a certain genre I go into the folder click them all and schedule them...

Now I have to manually change EVERY one to the new music cd #

Still working on item specifics for the 1000's of items that can not be bulk changed when that switched over also...

Shouldnt have to spend tons of hours over months doing things that should be able to be done in bulk.

I dont get any forum updates, not sure if I have it set up to!

Last night I had a set of 9 auctions I wanted to put up....I had to first manually change each one to the new music cd number then schedule them...that is crazy.

Hi again

if any of your listing are less then 90 days old you can re-list form the Closed Folders. If you do a Bulk Relist you can at least can titles, prices, fixed to auction, and duration. they will relist with you items descriptions that were on your listing when it was last on eBay. That's at least how it has worked for jewelry. Your category may act differently
