Thanks to you fine people on here, you made my first time listing on EBAY like a breeze.

My first two items that I actually listed, sold. I am shocked but nervous also.

I hope I do everything right to close out the deal. My first listing ended Friday night and I still have not heard from the winning bidder, I know you have to wait like 8 days but I hope for my first sale it's not gonna be a no payer. My second listing just ended a few minutes ago, so hopefully he will pay Smile

I sent them invoices, even though they automatically get one by email. I put in the invoice "if you already paid by checkout please disregard this email" Please tell me if I am missing something. It still says waiting on payment, so obviously they haven't paid.

Congratulations...it's a rush isn't it Smile
So far so good. Ebay does NOT automatically send invoices, not sure abiout Auctiva because I don't use their checkout. I always send one because people seem to expect it, especially new members. Don't worry yet about the one that ended on Fri, it's the weekend and alot of folks aren't at their computers. You can send another invoice about day 5 if you still haven't heard anything. (That's what I do)

One thing...Usually My Ebay will tell you all you need to know but it CAN be glitchy. If you're unsure if you've recieved payment or not go directly to Paypal and check there. If it's there, it's paid and you can ship. You'll also get an email from PP saying You've recieved an instant payment, blah blah blah.

Good luck Smile
eBay doesn't send out invoices automatically but they do send out a "you won ebay item" email automatically... and there's no way you can turn that off - it's not optional.

I also prefer sending out my own emails but when I do my buyer is actually bombarded with 3 emails after a buy. That has to be confusing! eBay's which is not helpful at all because it's so full of ebay promo stuff... and Pay Now etc. etc.

I don't want my people to Pay Now until they get MY personal email and info that I know is correct - not always the case with eBay's.

The Auctiva one at least allows us to pretty much say what we want in it and provides our buyer and seller email addresses up front - but still would rather only have one going out... from me. Still - if using the Auctiva one helps keep it free, don't want to turn it off.

Just wish there was some way I could turn eBay's off.
