it sounds like you are experiencing some difficulties with the description editor, but it is not entirely clear what may be occurring for you.

We did update the editor for all accounts in the not too distant past both for security reasons and because the older version of the editor was becoming less compatible with contemporary systems and browsers, but the new version of the editor does operate much like the prior one.

If you are encountering difficulty with the editor, I suggest that you file a support case with us letting us know the difficulty you are encountering in detail so we can look into it and assist you. You can file a support case from under the Help tab of the site and we be happy to assist you.
