I opened up a current listing (A) with the plan to duplicate it and set up a new listing (B). I replaced A's info with B's info. Then I forgot and saved over A's settings by clicking "Save" instead of "Save As New." A is still OK and live on eBay, but the saved listing for it in Auctiva has B's info now. So in Auctiva, I have what looks like two duplicate listings for B and nothing for A. Is there any way to restore A's settings? Should I import the correct listing from eBay to Auctiva? Does it matter? A is an auction that ends Sunday evening.

Hi overwriting a listing held in Auctiva will not affect the posted listing.

I do not like the 'save as' or 'save as new' facility becuase I frequently overwrite an exitsing one which is really annoying if I have not posted it yet or I want to reuse it.

In my view it is far safer to use 'create similar' so at least from the very start it is a new listing, then save when previewed and error checked ok.

It may entail a few more mouse clicks but it certainly reduces my editing induced swearing !

If A ends Sunday and you have another A to sell just select sell similar to reuse the listing already on eBay. (don't forget to revise any condition info or images if necessary)
