I would like to be able to modify the payment and shipping status of ended auctions through Auctiva, similar to how I would through My eBay.

If this Auctiva thing is to succeed, it needs to be a viable replacement for My eBay as far as the complete cycle of an auction listing is concerned, from designing the listing, to scheduling or submitting the listing, to watching its live progress, to managing payment and shipping status after it ends, to leaving feedback for sold items. This also needs to be compatible with all eBay international websites, not just eBay.com. I do 100% of my listings through eBay.ca.

If I need to do something in My eBay, I might as well do more there. Or is this just a funky way of avoiding $1.25 in fees for supersized images, additional images, scheduled listings, etc?

Welcome BWJM to Auctiva. I've read your posts and the suggestions you have and it's apparent you're not familiar with ebud yet. It already does all the things you've suggested and is much easier than using My Ebay.
Auctiva doesn't provide a users guide so you have to jump in and play with it awhile to learn just what it will do. It's easy to customize to fit your needs. I have a few thousand listings on my spreadsheet and can find one when I need to.
If you have a particular question just ask and some of us will help you with it, but don't sell the program short until you've learned how to use it.
Somebody, PLEASE answer tonight!! I need to give this guy an answer immediatley! Eek

I have a customer (very tacky one) who went thru the checkout with Auctiva and wrote me that Auctiva will not transfer his payment to Pay Pal. I checked the listing and Auctiva shows the checkout as complete. He did purchase insurance, too. My files in Auctiva list the payment as pending. When I check Pay Pal, the payment hasn't been transferred yet. What do I need to do to calm this man down and assure him his payment will transfer to Pay Pal (will it???). I went ahead and printed the shipping label and will mail his item to him. I've seen feedback he leaves and he has a very short fuse. I just need to make sure the payment will transfer and be able to give him some sort of assurance that it will.
