I realize by reading the previous posts that there are some photo problems going on, but mine sounds different, so I thought I'd post and check it out.

When creating a listing, under IMAGE SELECTION when you click on the SELECT AN IMAGE box, the pop-up box appears, but then in that box the text that allows you to browse your computer and upload a photo doesn't appear. So, I can't upload photos at all, or select photos that have already been uploaded. This is a new problem as of yesterday (4/25).

Please just drop a note and let me know what's going on if this is already a known problem. Until then, I have to revert to using Ebay for my listings.

Let me amend this by saying that I can upload images with the basic html image uploader under the images tab, but then cannot put them in a listing.

Hi Community,

If anyone is still experiencing this issue, in which, after clicking "Select an Image" on the lister page, the popup window comes up blank, please file a support case using the appropriate link on our help page.

http://www.auctiva.com/free_auction_software_help/help.aspx

Also, if there is any sort of error message or icon in the task bar of the window, please click on it and copy/paste the text that comes up into the support case.

We appreciate all of your help=)

To anybody who's experiencing this issue:

We're currently investigating why this issue is affecting some of our users and we hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

In the mean time, can you please try using an alternate browser to see if that alleviates the problem. We recommend using Internet Explorer 6 or Firefox for best performance with our site. If you're already using one, you may want to try the other. A free download of Firefox is available at http://www.mozilla.com.

If you get a chance to try this, please post the results on this thread, including which browser you experienced the problem with and which one worked. Or, if neither of them resolve the issue, please post that info as well.

Hi - I'm having the same problem. Through Internet Explorer when I try and upload a picture, I get "error on page" message. So...I installed the FoxFire you wrote about, and now absolutely nothing comes up with I try to upload a picture, other than it says "done" but there are none of my pictures visible to choose from. I've been working on this now for 2 days and have a ton of auctions that I had wanted to enter. PLEASE HELP! Thank you
Hi Community,

We now believe that this problem may have been created by a caching issue. If you don't mind, please try clearing your cache via the following process and then try selecting images once more:

In Internet Explorer go to the Tools menu, click the Internet Options menu item, then click the "Delete Files" and "Delete Cookies" buttons.

In Firefox, go to Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Check Cache and Cookies -> Clear Private Data Now.

Remember to close all browser windows but one while clearing your cache.

Also, if you're using Internet Explorer, you can easily clear your cache and reload the page by holding CTRL and pressing F5.

Please post to this thread if you get a chance to try this and let me know if it helps.

Any results diagnosing and solving this problem? I experience it ["error on page"] from time to time for no apparent reason and even though I don't make any changes to my IE system. Last night I was unable to post all evening because of this problem, although over the weekend it did not occur. And I don't believe in cyber-ghosts!
