I'm still trying to make my first listing.

With Auctiva, can I have one larger pic, and the smaller ones on the side, with the 'click to enlarge' on the small ones?

How do I do this?

I only figured it out as far as having the pics paired up, etc, but that doesn't give me one large one.

Also, do I have to resize before uploading to Auctiva? Is it easier if I do?

thanks
Brenda

Hi Brenda, You can enter your own picture by using the insert image button located between the background color picker and the user links section of the editor. This will give you a large picture if you want it. Then you can upload the others like you do normally and then choose to pair them on the right, left, bottom or top through the template section.

If you are indeed wanting what rick suggested ..like ebay has them at the bottom...that is not possible here like rick said...Im just telling you a way you can have one large picture and the rest with the supersize feature.

In answer to your other question: Yes reducing the file size of your images before you upload will really speed things up and will also make your pictures load faster on your listing. Please understand Im not talking about resizing your images...just your images file sizes as in Kilobytes. There are alot of FREE image file resizing programs out there. I use one called Pixresizer but others use different ones.

Hope this helps you! William
Oh, there's also the slideshow option. It shows one image at a time automatically and also at the buyer's command. It's not exactly the same but it can be good if what you're wanting is to cut down the space the photos take in your listings.

You choose it in the listing page by clicking on the "Modify Template" link and then it's in the dropdown.
