Picture size

Please tell me.... what is the optimum (sp?) image size for quick uploading? I have the dreaded dial up because I am in the boonies and don't have cable. I can't afford satellite so i'm stuck with dial up. It takes for ever to upload an image and I think that my pics could be smaller. Thanks for any pointers.

Well, as small as you can make it without losing detail. Just play around a bit with your image editor. Possibly just make it the same size as the un-supersized pictures from your Auctiva listings (400x300px). Maybe 500x500px.
