I always edit my pics down to a 400 or 500 width, then upload them into Auctiva. In my auctions they are not that large, but they are when you supersize it. I want them to be the 400 or 500 on the auction page. Do I need to go back to using Photobucket and inserting the pics in the description to be able to do that?

Hi Bonuskid40,

When you use place images in your listings through the "Select an Image" boxes on the lister page, those images will automatically be resized to 400 x 300 px for display in the auction. However, the supersized images will reflect the original image size.

If you would like your images to NOT be resized when creating your listings, please enter them directly into the description editor using the "Freetiva Image" button on the lower left have side of the editor toolbar(it has a mountain/sun icon on it). Any images added in this manner will be full size in the listing but will not be supersizeable.

Another possible solution is to edit the template you are using to use original images instead of resized ones. You can accomplish this by going to Auctiva -> Listings(tab) -> Customize an Auctiva Template and replacing the [DESCRIPTION_AND_IMAGES] tag with a [DESCRIPTION] tag followed by [IMAGE1_ORG], [IMAGE2_ORG], etc...just be sure to include as many of these images tags as the maximum number of images you will be using in your listings. Then, when you use that "custom" template, the images placed in the "Select an Images" boxes will appear within the template in their original size.
