Pictures too BIG??? Uploading takes forever???

I have had this problem with other sites. I solved the problem by trimming my pictures and decreasing the brightness in a photoshop type program. Corel or Canon ZoomBrowser is what I use. Hope this gives you an idea of what you can do or try anyway!

Hi, how big are the pictures ?

they are 2.07MB 3488 x 2616 I use a finepix E-900 Fuji Camera. This is the size they download into my computer.

Hi that is your problem you should only upload them at the greatest resolution you are to display them at on your listing simply to reduce upload time.

Bear in mind that many buyers will be running their PC or laptop at something between 800x600 to 1280x1024 so greater than 800x600 is going to be unmanageable for most people even in supersize mode.

Also your listings will take so long to display buyers will get fed up and move off before their PC completes display of your listing.

You need to reduce them once on your PC there are plenty of software packages available nothing fancy needed as jpg is a standard format.

Your camera may have the option to take lower resolution pictures, my humble Fuji I run at its lowest resolution of 1024x768 and nearly always reduce them down further depending on the subject matter before uploading.

Thank-you, I didn't know I had that option with the camera, so I will reduce them and then it will all be faster on the upload... I appreciate all your help!
