Placement of and Template

Ok. So I'm setting up my custom (listing) template. I would like to place my store window in the center of my template. I select the [Store Window] tag and put it there. But when I try to update and preview it...the store window doesn't show. I'm using design mode.

Is there a way to preview the listing template and see the store window as well?
