Hi, I am using a custom template. When I finish my listing, it all looks ok but when I upload to ebay it changes the font to "Times New Roman". I have tried changing the font in "Design Editor" and by HTML and putting the codes in, but it does not work.

Do you know if Auctiva has a standard font set for HTML.

So then I thought I would go in, and instead of just using the custom template and changing it each time I do a lising, I tried to do a custom template with the wording already there so that I only had to call up the template. But when doing this I had the same problem.

It didn't matter how many times or how many ways I used to set my font to "vendana" - every time I pressed "save and preview" the font had changed back to "Times New Roman"

I hope this all made sense. I am desperate for some answers

thank you in advance

Hi,

Auctiva doesn't have a "standard" font, but they do set a specific font in each template, so that the description and seller details will default to that font (if none is specified as override).

Could you copy the template to the practiceboard and post the practiceboard link and a link to one of the problem listings or the listing number at ebay.

I'll give it a look.

Edit: "vendana"???? Do you mean Verdana?

Thank you for your reply. Here is my ebay listing no. 120334635511. I don't know how to post a link to the practice board, but when I view the preview of this in the practice board, it is also showing as times new roman. But when I view it in design editor on the listing page it is showing with Verdana????

I don't know how to show you exactly what I mean
Hi,

I'm not finding the use of Verdana on the listing itself in the description section, so something didn't work.

There is a sticky thread in the Forum on how to receive help, including use of the practiceboard with a step-by-step set of instructions.

You just copy and paste your template HTML code into the box at practiceboard, use "See HTML" button to display the code amd create a saved page at practiceboard. There will be a link to that saved code that you can then copy and paste back to the Forum. Here's the Forum thread...

Edit: Which operating system and browser are you using?
