Hi, i've already searched other posts for the same problem i'm having and the advice given doesn't help me.

I'm new to html, I thought I knew a little but obviously not.

I was finishing off my template and did the description last, i'm getting the error message to choose either description or description and image.

It works if i stick a tab in but then it has the whole paragraph about how the description will be there when it's already underneath.

If i try inserting my description and image into the brackets for description and image it doesn't work it comes back up with the message.

I've tried it pretty much every which way i can possibly think of i've been on with it for the past 3 hours and still no further forward.

Please someone help

Hi

I'm pretty new to all of this myself, but what I have figured out is this:
You NEED to have that [DESCRIPTION] or [DESCRIPTION AND IMAGES] tag. Then you either have a profile of "Item details", or you write the description in when you create the listing.

ANY PRO'S OUT THERE, correct me if I'm wrong please, but I did the same thing as Jenarei the other night, and that's the conclusion I came to.

Jenarei, I hope in some small and insignificant way this helps!
Hi

When you create the item description profile, name it something like the description of what it is. Then when you go to Create Listing, there are a drop down boxes at various points down the page. The one that says "Load from a profile" to the right of "Item details" - drop this down and you should be able to select your profile, then load it. Now it should appear in the description. (I really hope this works for you!)
Ok that really helped because I found the add template bit, I've ignored it time after time when ive listed lol.

Only problem now is it won't let me load my custom template or will it just appear now that i've got all profiles loaded?

I had originally thought that all the shipping, payment, terms etc on the template would be filled in by the profiles but I hope not as I gave quite abit more detail when I edited the template.

I really appreciate you helping me with this.
Hi

To add your custom template, go down a bit further to the blue box that says "select template", click on this and a new window should come up. Then click on "Custom templates" option, and that should bring your custom templates up, then select the one you want and click "save template to listing". This shouldn't affect the "item detail" profile that you have added (it doesn't affect mine). Hope this helps!
