Hi, i really want to list items with the digital item option, which currently auctiva doesnt offer, i really love Auctiva but i really need to use that function.

Plus i really hate eBay Turbo Lister, it is just not the same as Auctiva.

So my questions are:

1. Will phase II have the digital item format option?
2. When will phase II be released?
3. What features will be available in phase II?

Much help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Nick

This has actually been asked and answered many times.

Currently, I believe Auctiva's plan is to release features one at a time as they are finished by the programmers, as opposed to releasing one huge "Phase 2" upgrade. The reasoning is probably that it is easier to fix problems with one new feature at a time, as opposed to having to fix problems with a dozen or so new features at a time.
Jeff - Can you tell me if an issue near and dear to my heart will be fixed in either release? The issue is that of not being able to create separate shipping methods (flat rate vs calculated) and handling costs for domestic vs international shipping. As many sellers are becoming more comfortable with international shipping, it is critical to be able to refine our approach to S/H costs. We are hamstrung by the missing functionality in this area, and I would love to know when you anticipate it will be added to Auctiva.
I know that was discussed and Mike the support manager asked that it be done. I don't know if it's one of the things though.

There was a list of probably 150 features and we just sat down and went through them one by one and picked off the ones we thought were doable and highly requested. That was 2 months ago or so.

I've heard this one a few times though so I'll put in another word for it. I'm not sure what would be hard about it but sometimes things require more work under the hood to get working than they would appear to on the surface.
I'd also like to chime in for support of digital delivery. Yes, you can set shipping to zero and enter a digital item, but when you select Digital Delivery using eBay's listing form you can specify either a URL or a text message that eBay delivers to the buyer after payment is received. This is how the buyer can get an instant download notification. If you could add digital delivery, not just for shipping (that's secondary), but more important something that lets you pass along the important digital delivery message to eBay's form, then we can use Auctiva for digital delivery.
