Here is another suggestion for the shipping insurance. It would be great if I can put a URL into my listing that links to a table that shows the various insurance rates for different price ranges. Often, I won't know how much the closing price will be, so it will be a hassle for me to quote several rates in my listing or for every individual bidder's inquiry. Of course, that particular table is for the buyers/bidders to check, and it should leave out how much the seller is getting back from the insurance.
If Auctiva provides a direct link to an insurance rate table FOR BIDDERS/BUYERS' REFERENCE. That way, I can just put that link under my terms and condition, and tell potential bidders to just click on the link to check the table and see much the insurance will be for different prices. A bidder/buyer can look at my listing, check out the insurance section under Terms and Conditions, and then just click on the link to see a pop-up menu showing the different insurance rates! That'd be a great time-saver.
Now, in another thread, I have suggested that Auctiva should let sellers change and split insurance cost. It'd be really awesome if the insurance rate table reflects that! So, let say I want to absorb $0.50 out of the $1.30 for insurance, the table will show the rates of $0.80 for under $50, $1.70 for $50-$100, $2.70 for $100-$200, etc., instead of the normal $1.30, $2.20, $3.20., etc.
